To teach the visually challenged calls for another kind of approach altogether. Specialized teaching techniques, thoroughly researched syllabi, unique teaching aids. Asha Deepa School for the Blind would like to put together an academic and vocational curriculum replete with self-help skills that is aimed at rehabilitating children from rural and semi-urban areas and making them independent, self-sufficient individuals. In addition to the prescribed academic syllabus, Institute would like to impart occupational training in future:

• Horticulture
• Nursery Development
• Cookery
